Hi, I’m Dave, Personal Trainer, and Nutrition Coach. First things first a little bit about me, I have been in the fitness industry since 2012 and wouldn’t have it any other way. I am originally from Portugal but have been living in the UK for over 20 years now. Fitness is so incredibly important to me not just for my clients but personally. I believe fitness creates a healthy mind.

I love to encourage my clients to achieve everything they dream and I feel my relaxed but professional approach helps them succeed. I started group boxing lessons with Dave in November 2022. I enjoyed this so much that in January 2023 I started one to one boxing. The sessions are not only a full body workout, but they are super fun. Dave always makes it a good laugh. He’s been extremely supportive with my fitness and weight loss journey since I’ve been boxing with him. Dave often goes above and beyond, giving me advice on my calories and what I should be doing to maximise goals. Every session Dave pushes me so I not only leave the session a complete sweaty mess, but feeling like I’ve also made a huge improvement. Dave and I have been working together for only 12 weeks and I have seen a massive transformation in my physical and mental state. He has been so supportive along my journey by tailoring our sessions to fit my goals and showing me the potential I have to grow and change to have a better, more positive mindset with fitness.
In our short time working together, I have lost a considerable amount of weight and cms but I’ve gained a positive attitude to eating and nutrition. Dave has worked closely with me monitoring my nutrition and educating me on how to maintain a sustainable diet for my goals.
In recent weeks, Dave has introduced pad work into our sessions. Although I was nervous at first, Dave quickly made it a comfortable, enjoyable environment for me to try a new skill. I started my journey in the gym back in December attending classes at pureGym. Strength 30 soon became my favourite class, which David takes.
I took up an initial 6 PT sessions with David and they continue beyond this to the current date. David is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, supportive and most of all makes it fun. My confidence has grown significantly, my measurements have dropped dramatically and muscle gained and fat lost. David has helped change my mind set and keeps me on the right path. I look forward to my PT Sessions each week as I am pushed more than I ever would do by myself. My confidence has grown and I now go to the gym and put into practise the things I have learnt during PT sessions into gym sessions by myself. Something I never thought I would ever do.
